July 13 (Bloomberg) — Three bomb blasts hit Mumbai, India’s financial capital, today killing at least three people, the city’s police control room said.
The blasts occurred in the Dadar, Zaveri Bazar and Shivaji Park neighborhoods, the police said by phone. The explosions injured more than 25 people, the police said.
A bomb exploded around 6:50 p.m., Jayesh Labdhi, a resident in the Zaveri Bazar area, said. The attack damaged cars and motorcycles parked in the area.
The blasts are the first since the November 2008 terror attacks that killed about 160 people in the city.
