Company to pump in Rs. 1.5 Cr. for modernizing its production facility
Jaipur, August 14, 2013: India’s fastest growing manufacturer and retailer of bone china and ceramic tableware today announced its growth target to mark 40% growth year on year. Company in its annual meeting with distributors today, launched 250 new ranges of products in the Fine Bone China, Premium Plastic and Thermoware segment.

Revealing the growth of the company, Mr. Rajesh Agarwal, MD, Clay Craft (I) Pvt. Ltd. shared, “At present Clay Craft group is having India’s largest automatic manufacturing plant of bone china tableware. Company is further going to pump in Rs. 1.5 Cr. for modernising its facility situated in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Our market share is nearly 25% in the bone china and ceramic tableware industry. We are putting our best efforts to modernise the existing plant and grow at a rate of 40% year on year.”
Highly popular in recent days, the steel Thermo-ware is specially designed for the health conscious food lovers. Traditional and Mughal theme based products are launched to cater the demand of up-coming Indian festive seasons, corporate and social gifting culture. Twice in a year, company brings new theme based design for Indian customers and this time these ranges will reach to the customers on 25thAugust onwards.
Mr. Agarwal further added, “In the year 2009, looking towards the growing market of plastic merchandise, we also ventured into the manufacturing and retailing of plastic tableware, kitchenware and bath-ware. A new company, Crown Craft was formed, currently working at 60% of its capacity. We believe that our premium plastic product variants will surely lure to the customers of plastic segment.”
Spread across 35,000 square meter area, Clay Craft’s state-of-art production facility has a production capacity of 110,000 pieces per day for Bone China and Ceramic Tableware and 80,000 pieces per day for Plastic-ware. The main production line is tuned to handle large volumes of Bone China crockery in a variety of shapes and combinations. Starting from a range of 100 ml to 500 ml Mugs, set of Cup & Saucers, various combinations of Tea/Coffee sets, Dinnerware for six persons serving and serving for eight persons in combination of 18 pieces to 124 pieces are available.
Company’s top five revenue generating markets in India are: Punjab (8%), UP (7%), Delhi (5%), Karnataka (5%) and Rajasthan (4%). The company has sizable export market too, which mainly covers UK, Egypt, Australia, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Canada, Singapore, UAE and many more countries.
