Mumbai, July 4, 2011: Lakshmi Vilas Bank has today introduced VISA DEBIT GOLD CARD for its premier customers. This is in addition to the classic card presently being issued by the bank. The card has a transaction limit of `50,000/- on the ATM and `1,00,000/- on the Point of Sales terminal. Each card holder will get a free personal accident insurance policy worth `2,00,000/-. The customers can also enjoy the benefits of loyalty points which can be exchanged for gifts.
The Saving bank account holders of the Bank can get this value added product if certain average balance criteria is met. There was a persistent demand from customer for higher transaction limit on the ATM and Point of Sales. With the introduction of this facility, this demand has been addressed.
The product is expected to help the Bank in its CASA mobilization efforts.
